And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.—
Genesis 27:38 And Esau said to his father, “Have you only one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father!” And Esau lifted up his voice and wept.Gen 27:39 Then Isaac his father answered and said to him: “Behold, your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above.Gen 27:40 By your sword you shall live, and you shall serve your brother; and it shall come to pass, when you become restless, that you shall break his yoke from your neck.”Before the person had sinned; everything was blessed. The land , nature even the human was blessed. God wants to always bless, Balam was a witness to this. He ended up blessing them after realising that it pleased God to bless Israel. If God blesses you, you dont fall in traps. Most of us have accepted poverty and admitted it as part and parcel of our lifestyle. There is nothing Holy about poverty. You will see God everytime he dealt with Israel, Israel was greatly impoverished. I can only live an abundant life as it was the one that was prescribed by Jesus Christ to me. After Cain killed Abel, it was said of him he was to live like a vagabond. Abraham as citizen, he would defeat 5 Kings in war. He gave birth to Esau and Jacob. Some people get names after their lifestyle. Jacob remained with the Fathers blessing. After all blessings were stolen by Jacob, Esau knew that there was still a blessing left. He squeezed the blessing from Abraham, Abraham said you will live by the sword. Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; For Esau would be living by the word. Isa 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. Like a flood The Spirit of The Lord will raise a standard against the enemy.Jabez countered the curse of his name1Ch 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested. Jabez caused his God to bless him indeed. I am not of poverty, i am of abundant blessings. God will lift me up.
